To help your little night owl understand when it’s bedtime, keep her room dark. Forgo nightlights and use dark curtains or blackout shades to simulate nighttime during the day. When it’s time for her to wake up, whether in the morning or after a nap, open the curtains and let light in to help her to understand the difference.

Lovely little girl with a notebook

Being a mother means making tons of decisions, and leaves you with a lot of …. questions. Being a mother somehow seems to double the amount of decisions needed, and sometimes double the number of questions you need to ask yourself about what you are doing. Is this best for the baby? The eldest child? The family? Me? But one thing I never questioned was whether tandem breastfeeding would be okay for all of us. I knew it may not be easy, and I might need to get advice from others, but that I could do it. After all, mothers with twins (or more multiples) do it all the time. And what I personally found out was that tandem feeding is an incredible experience (if it works for you)!We have been making this all summer long and have tweaked the recipe a little bit. If I may say so, the result is sensational and a guaranteed success! Vio can now make this unaided, bar one important step: the whipping of the egg whites. If there is no mixer in the house, this part requires serious muscle!
